A number of our more recent client engagements have involved designing applications relating to communication.

Much of this work is still under the wraps, but we've always been interested in improving the current messaging experience on the desktop.

So, as part of our investigations, we decided to design and prototype a messenger of our own.

The first gadget messenger

Since more and more people are buying new machines and moving to Vista, we thought it might also be interesting to integrate our messenger with Vista's sidebar.

Then it struck us: what if the messenger was a gadget?

Now you can drag and manage you're favorite contacts right on the sidebar.
